Thanh attended Hanoi University of Communication and Transport and obtained a Bachelor degree in Engineering in 2000, after that he joined Hung-Yen University of Technical Education as a Lecturer. In 2003, Thanh won a scholarship which allowed him to pursue his study for a Master degree in Engineering at the AIT. Upon completion of his MS, Thanh continues his graduate training toward PhD degree. His training is currently supported by a scholarship from government of Vietnam. His research interests include Robotics, Advanced Control Engineering, and Evolutionary Computation.
